ISaloni Highlights: The Best From The Best
The organization, the exhibitors, and the press are all unanimous: the 61st ISaloni 23 was a hit. In the words of Maria Porro, the President of Salone del Mobile it was, most precisely, “an international success and we are really delighted that it exceeded expectations. The number of attendees makes for an exceptional result, which we worked very hard, deeply and radically for, to bring new meanings and values to the trade fair visit and create new experiences for the visitors who came along”.
These were indeed very intense days of browsing through the most talented retailers in the interior design world, and we were able to talk to them, learn from them a collect a bunch of inspiration for years to come. We’ll leave you with our favorite picks of the moments lived during our presence at the tradeshow.
Bespoke Kids: An Ultimate Magical Experience
Luxury hardware brand PullCast owned the show at ISaloni, presenting a new concept service that blew our minds: Kids Bespoke. Oriented both for parents and their offspring PullCast wants to transform kids’ drawings into beautiful design objects to incorporate in creative and colorful interior design projects, for children. A service provided thanks to a combination of digital techniques, handcrafting skills, and lots of imagination! It is already a hit!
Salone.Satellite: Awarding the Future
The talk of Gaetano Pesce was a very anticipated moment, that exceeded our expectations. It was a valuable lesson, in the first person, by one of the most prestigious professionals in the contemporary world. The SaloneSatellite Award, now in its 12th edition, has also generated a great deal of excitement and curiosity, as it rewards innovative emerging talents. The winners are Japanese inventor Honoka, for his Tatami Refab, which combines 3D printing and recycled tatami; the Triplex Stool, which was created by the Hong Kong-based Studio Ryte utilizing flax, a sustainable wood fiber, took second place; and Ahokpe + Chatalin, representing Belgium, won third place for their Kudoazò hammock constructed from recycled fabric spun in Benin.
In Search of the Perfect Lighting
We traveled to Salone del Mobile with the mission of finding the perfect dining room lighting to assemble into a dining room project and… we found it! The Liberty Slim Chandelier was without a doubt the focus of the LUXXU Modern Lighting display at Salone del Mobile 2023. Above the Empire Set III table in the living room, this magnificent was the belle of the ball. It was without a doubt the center of attention and essential for anyone looking to give their room a touch of modern grandeur. It is a statement object that we believe to be suitable for an opulent dining scene and we can’t wait to start to construct ambiances and projects around this great lighting specimen.
