The most outstanding Events During Salone del Mobile

Beppe Finessi, the Italian architect and researcher, is responsible for curating the cultural program of this amazing design event. Under his watch, renowned artists and emergent talents will take over and reinterpret spaces, providing the audience with memorable experiences that will elevate everyone’s perception of interior design.

Formafantasma Take Over on Salone del Mobile

Take for example Formafantasma, a research-based design studio that investigates the ecological, historical, political, and social forces that shape the discipline of design today, and that is going to turn the main Euroluce public space into an ideal city – The City of Lights.

Formafantasma will also join forces with textile designers and producers House Of Lyria. This joint-venture results in the construction of Aurore, an interactive arena build as a place of knowledge, that will host talks, workshops, and immersive experiences.

Also designed by Formafantasma, and curated by Corraini Editoriyou, a specialized bookshop in design, art, and illustration, is also worth a visit. The theme of Light is a strong presence in the selection of literary works. Very appropriate!

Gaetano Pesce, one of the main figures of Italian design, will host the talks in the context of SaloneSatellite, an event dedicated to designers under 35, that aims to establish the connection between emerging talents and the main players in the business.

Maurizio Nannucci, described by the organization as “one of the most powerful interpreters of artificial light in contemporary art” is designing a site-specific installation, with the phrase: “YOU CAN IMAGINE THE OPPOSITE”. An artistic neon statement that is also an invitation for the viewers to embrace their creativity more openly.

Last but not least, we cannot wait to book a table at the bistro and fine dining restaurant designed by legendary architect and furniture designer Pierro Lissoni, also in connection to the Euroluce conception of space.
